This is a fundraising event for Cynthia and for Alfred Molison, candidate for the Houston City Council. Alfred is running for Houston City Council, District C, working for Healthy People, Healthy Jobs, Healthy politics. He'd like to hear your ideas on making Houston a healthy community. Cynthia McKinney, former congresswoman from Georgia, was one of the few in Congress to oppose giving war powers to the Bush administration prior to the invasion of Iraq, and for her integrity and honesty she has, unfortunately, since been effectively targeted politically by the Big Money interests. Now she has debts to clear up before she takes her next steps. Come hear what Alfred and Cynthia have to say and help them plan what to do and how to do it. And bring your checkbook, credit card, or ATM card!
