Rice for Peace and Justice along with a number of campus organizations are organizing several events to mark the 5th anniversary of the Iraq Occupation.

Wednesday, March 19:

Art Exhibit: 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM in Grand Hall, RMC
"Civilians of War" will consist of over 100 pieces of art created between 2002 and 2008 by David Miller (Berkeley, CA) and Marc Levine (Houston, TX) intended to shed light upon the plight of innocent Iraqis.

Event Description:

This is an event to die-in at the Marine Recruiting Station on 701 San Jacinto. We will also be doing street theater and agitation with whatever crowd we happen upon. It will begin at noon on March 19th, the 5th anniversary of the invasion of Iraq.
