Event Description:

Come to the monthly meeting of the Progressive Action Alliance starting at 7:30 p.m. (30 minutes later than usual) Thursday, Jan. 12, at Leisure Learning Unlimited, 6th floor, Room 6.

Agenda items this month include:

* building pressure to impeach Bush & Cheney - flyers at MLK parade, freeway blogging, etc.
* protest at State of the Union speech
* continuing to work for withdrawal from Iraq
* helping progressive Democrats get elected to leadership positions in the state and local party
* resolutions for Democratic conventions
* helping Greens get ballot access
