The SE Texas Progressive Populist Caucus will join Democracy For Houston and the Progressive Action Alliance by hosting a workshop training session focused on the Precinct Convention(s) that are held immediately following the closing of the polls on Primary Election Day on March 7th.

It is our goal to identify and train as many of our folks as possible, prior to the primary date. We will cover convention rules, progressive strategies and suggest ideas for increasing participation in the precinct convention process.

We want to increase our activism at the precinct level and carry it through to the Senate District Conventions on March 25th and State Party Convention June 8-10 in Fort Worth.

A document "Participating in or Chairing your Democratic Precinct Convention" has been prepared that you can review ahead of time and / or bring with you to the training event.
