David Van Os organizing committee dinner & meeting

Interested in helping David Van Os become our next Attorney General of Texas?
Ready for a real People's Lawyer, who has vowed to go after big oil, insurance gougers, and other big corporations after he's elected?
Want to help us plan David's Oct. 18 visit to Houston, plus other campaign activities between now and the election?
Join us at the Souper Salad on W. Gray for dinner (buffet with huge salad bar, baked potatoes, soup, and bread) and weekly planning meetings between now and the Nov. 7 election. (We plan to meet each Friday except on Nov. 3 -- the day for the HPJC Awards Banquet.)
Souper Salad has an all-you-can-eat dinner for $6.48 (buffet with huge salad bar, baked potatoes, soup, bread, and dessert), so come hungry. Drinks cost extra.
You have to purchase a buffet if you want to eat, but if you don't want to eat you can still come and join us for our meeting, according to the people at the restaurant.
Bring your ideas on how to help David Van Os get elected, and we'll plan strategy and see who wants to do what.
If you get lost, call the restaurant at 713-524-3536. It's on the north side of W. Gray in a shopping center, and is between Dunlavy and Waugh.
We'll probably have weekly planning meetings between now and the Nov. 7 election. (We plan to meet each Friday except on Nov. 3 -- the day for the HPJC Awards Banquet.) The location is subject to change after this week.
If you can't come Friday evening, but can help, please call me. There are numerous events in the next week where we need volunteers to distribute flyers, etc. We also need volunteers to help with block walking this Saturday and Sunday (and every weekend until the election) to pass out literature for David Van Os, Jim Henley, and other progressive candidates.
