Y’all Stock noon-10 p.m. Cypresscreek Community Center; 6823 Cypresswood Dr.; $5 celebration of peace, music & art Saturday, Sept. 15 Animated discussion about organizers refusing a table to Military Families Speak Out group; Bob Messer reports organizers established tabling criteria that excludes groups that organizers feel will alienate/incense folk they’re hoping to bring to event and expose gently to peace/unity network; consideration about maintaining consensus to protect the health of group; progressive groups historically known for forming firing squad circles; discussion about criteria for group participation/exclusion; question about whether folk change opinions by accommodating right wing sensibilities versus affecting change by exposing them to “truth”; group does not have consensus about PAA participation therefore no PAA at Y’all Stock but with understanding that individuals can participate; discomfort expressed about participating in an event which actively excludes MFSO; do not want to split group;
