Event Description:

March 20 - Dialogue: Racism - A program developed by The Center for the Healing of Racism to promote the sharing of thoughts, feelings, experiences and perspectives on racism among diverse groups of people.

Trained teams facilitate the workshop/forum in a nine-evening format during two-hour meetings.

Topics covered during these sessions include: Defining Racism and Prejudice; How racism is Perpetuated; Unaware Racism; Racial and Cultural Stereotypes: Internalized Racism; Cultural Racism; Oneness of Humanity; and Ally- building.

There is no charge, and all are welcome.

This series will be held on Tuesdays from 7p.m. - 9p.m., beginning March 20th, at the Havens Center, 1827 W.Alabama (East of Shepard, the building directly next door -to the east- of The Chocolate Bar).
