Event Description:
The finale of Mahatma Gandhi Week - 2007 will be "1000 Lights For Peace" celebration at the Miller Outdoor Theater (Hermann Park) on Sunday, October 7, 2007 in the 5 to 7 in the evening. Mayor Bill White will be the Chief Guest. Keynote Speaker will be HISD Superintendent Dr. Abelardo Saavedra. Mark your calendar and come make your pledge for peace by lighting a candle at 1000 Lights For Peace.
