Event Description:

Attend the regular monthly meeting of the Progressive Action Alliance at 6:45 Thursday, Dec. 13. Come early to visit; meeting is from 7-9 p.m. Bring something non-messy to eat or drink and share if you wish.

Agenda items include:
* Saturday's runoff election results
* Activities to promote impeachment (Dennis Kucinich has put it back on the table in Congress)
* Houston freeway blogging http://paa-tx.org/freeway_blogging -ongoing
* Green Party ballot access drive
* Dem. Presidential candidates' campaigns, fund raising
* Declaration of Peace
* Activities to end the Iraq occupation and to stop military action in Iran
* Holiday party
* Other agenda items TBD

We meet at the Havens Center -- see address below. You may park across the street in the gravel lot on the north side of Alabama (not in front of the restaurant), or in the St. Stephen's Episcopal Church parking lot, just east of the Havens Center. NOTE: Several cars have been vandalized in the Church parking lot. Do not leave visible items of value in car.

We meet the 2nd Thursday of each month to discuss recent and upcoming activities. Join us!
