The 2005 Houston ACLU Gala with special guest AL FRANKEN!

Al Franken revolutionized comedy as a writer for Saturday Night Live. Now he is revolutionizing political commentary with his keen, ironic and hilarious observations. Mr. Franken authored Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot and Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them, both best sellers. He currently hosts The Al Franken Show, Air America Radio’s flagship program, and has a new book, The Truth (with Jokes) (on sale at the event).

The evening will include a standing reception, silent auction, sales of Mr. Franken's New Book The Truth (with Jokes) and a book signing.
