Event Description:

We will be organizing this event, talking about workgroups, how to proceed, finalizing venue information and dates and times and working on a focus for this event. A social forum is an open space where different groups of civil society come together around the theme: "Another World is Possible." It is an event that works to build alternatives to globalization and totalitarian capitalism by bringing together a variety of groups and organizations all working on the same and similar issues. It seeks to make apparent the interconnectedness of all the issues and how all the various tactics that progressive and radical activists use work together for change.
