NANOTECHNOLOGIES for a SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENT
December 15, 2005 - 8:00-6:00
Rice University - Duncan Hall - McMurtry Auditorium

In December 2001, the Environmental & Energy Systems Institute of Rice University (EESI) hosted the first ever public forum addressing the need for research on the environmental applications and implications of nanotechnologies.

Four years later, on December 15, 2005, EESI will bring together eminent researchers from France and the US for a full-day conference to discuss progress in developing new nanomaterial-based technologies for environmental protection and understanding of possible risks posed by nanomaterials to human health and the environment.

A full agenda is here. Please register! A map to campus is here.

Free parking will be available for attendees:  Enter any Rice campus visitor's lot using a credit card.  Validation cards will be distributed during the conference, which when used to exit any lot will cancel the credit card charge.
