The GAO has also just released a report on the electronic voting machines use in Ohio. The report suggests the election could have been stolen, that the machines are extremely vulnerable to tampering in many different ways that would be undetectable and that what the critics have been saying is not b.s. but highly likely. This means that the ones who were saying the radical from the start and taking heat for it even from there own party members were right. They were right. I was right. A lot of us were right. Well, I feel better now.

SENATOR LINDSEY GRAHAM PULLS A FAST ONE TO ABORT HABEAS CORPUS
With virtually no advance notice the Republican majority in the Senate (with the shameful complicity of Democrats Conrad, Landrieu, Lieberman, [Ben] Nelson, and Wyden) approved a last minute amendment to the Defense Authorization Act to deny U.S. courts jurisdiction to examine the legality of detainee detention in Guantanamo and elsewhere. They did this in defiance of the not yet completely packed Supreme Court (another reason to reject Alito), whose authority they would annul. This is all despite the well-known FACT that many scooped up into these hell holes of torture are not terrorists at all, some even having been sold for bounty. Senator Bingaman immediately responded with a proposed corrective amendment (S.AMDT.2517) to restore jurisdiction.

David Van Oss, can lay down a campaign, or can he?
http://demlog.blogspot.com
He's making the case that the heart of the democratic party, it's mission, was basically cut out about 30 years ago by a new chairman who was also a corporate attorney power broker. Not much of a stretch to belive for some. So now we have to turn the feeling of voting into a joyous acknowledgement of community, by campaigning for the people. Instead of to the people.
Bush did a Duhd speech on vets day
why? I mean if it were him who was calling the shots, hey, wait a minute. Has Bush gone bonkers and actually thrown a temper tantrum at his handlers. I am the PRESIDENT. Because the speech he gave was very unpatriotic and more ranting, defensive and distasteful for Vets day.
