WHY: Ten Thousand Villages is a national network of shops run by the Mennonite Central Committee to promote just working conditions in developing nations.
(It's always good to shop at the stores, and especially good to do some of your last minute shopping on this evening, because 15% of the sales proceeds will go Houston Peace and Justice Center.)

The Beehive has produced a series of amazingly intricate drawings that represent the struggles in the Americas using insects as an extended metaphor.
